What's the better benefit of Web Directory than other link?

For those Free directories, it make sense to list my site to get one more backlink.But, I'm not sure if it's worth to pay to get listed. I don't see traffic coming through web directory listing so far.
If you need to pay, is it better to pay SEO service company to get backlink?
What do you think?

I wouldn't do it for the traffic, simply for some link banks. To be honest I think it is mot beneficial if the domain is new and you are simply trying to get it indexed fast in different search engines.

Yes taking up a SEO services is always more preferable as you have a guarantee of the back links and more over if you don't get the result you can question the company for the same..

Yeah but only with trusted SEO company, check reviews of the company first. I don't trust SEO company that promises high traffics in short time. They probably can make your site reach first page on search engine but it won't stay for long.

Yes Exactly You cannot trust any SEO company promising you high traffic just check for the reviews and you would reach the first page of a search engine in no time...!!

Web directory is the very easy option to build back links. It's worth to pay for the featured listing in PR directories. Before paying for listing check the directory PR and traffic details.

Getting your URL in directories helps you get backlinks but these links are not that valuable The least that can happen is nothing, but this doesn't hurt you
