I think Digital Point Forum is the best free forum but i cont know about paid forum...If anyone knows please answer to this forum....

For free ones that is PHPBB and if you consider paid solutions Vbuletin of course

If they were free they would be better then PHPBB. But they are not free and they are not better then Vbuletin

PHP BB is good solution for forum and I will also consider V-Bulletin

There are more complex opensource solutions but they often revolve around fully blown CMS systems such as PHPnuke and postnuke which for the purpose of simple forum creation is like using a sledge hammer to crack a nut.
