Default Paid Shopping Cart Software Reviewed

Perlcart and 2checkout are supposedly good for the small selection of items.

x-cart is great for moderate price and good functionality at the same time

Miva merchant is considered expensive and complicated to run

I've heard this software is not cheap but it does almost everything imaginable.

Anything to add to this?

Why would anyone use Paypal? I know it is absolutely the most convenient form to setup but to expect someone to go through the more complicated process of getting a paypal account just to complete an order is counter-productive. Paypal's service should be relegated to Ebay.

I noted the fact that Paypal worked only...."Paypal's service should be relegated to Ebay."

Besides for anything outside of Ebay - Paypal seems so unprofessional.
